1.5.0 brought Blight back to Mac, and then it wouldn't start. This one does.

  • Blight on Mac actually starts now. 1.5.0 for Mac quit the moment it opened, after one hopeful burst of music: it went looking for its fonts and art in the wrong part of the app. Sorry to everyone who got the overture and no opera.
  • No more "Apple could not verify Blight" for itch.io downloads. itch.io's repacking stripped part of the signature on the way to you. The app is now built so there's nothing left to strip.
  • Already have 1.5.0 on a Mac? Download Blight again. 1.5.0 can't stay open long enough to update itself.
  • The main menu fits your screen. On 1080p screens and Macs the buttons ran off the bottom of the window; the banner now shrinks to make room, and the game always draws for the window it actually has, however your system sizes it.
  • Resizing the window no longer resets the facilitator address or game name you'd typed, and the "Start Local Facilitator" button stays inside the window.
  • If the game ever has to quit while music is playing, the music now goes quietly instead of taking the game down with it.
  • Mac builds are now tested exactly as you receive them before anything ships: signed, zipped and unzipped the way itch.io does it, then started with the sound on.
  • Release pipeline: the Mac packaging fetches the app icon from LFS, and the music player keeps its hands off the synth for as long as an old song's thread is still running.
  • Release pipeline: the game server only updates once the new clients are out, so a release that fails halfway can't leave everyone on the old version locked out (which one briefly did).
