No new corner of the village this time; this release is the housewarming. Blight now builds, tests and ships entirely from our own studio infrastructure, and this version exists to prove that whole line end to end with a real release. If we did it right, you can't tell anything changed. That's the point. Mac players: see below, and sorry; the hardware is literally in the post.

  • Blight now builds, tests, and releases from the studio's own forge (git.umberum.au); same game, prouder plumbing. The pipeline stays host-aware, so the GitHub copy keeps working until it retires. Players should notice nothing except that we did.
  • To our Mac players: updates are paused for a little while. Our new build hardware is literally in the post, and rather than ship you anything we can't properly test, we're waiting for it to arrive. Your current version keeps working; when Mac updates resume they'll be built and tested on a real Mac, which we suspect you'll agree is how it should have been all along. Sorry for the wait.
  • Build: every stored release credential is gone. The pipeline now proves its identity to AWS and Google with short-lived tokens minted per run, so there is nothing on a shelf to leak.
  • Build: the release pipeline installs its own Android SDK, Velopack tooling and squashfs instead of trusting the runner image to have them.
  • Build: dependency housekeeping; shared Resinhead core 1.6.2, CI action bumps, and Renovate takes over from Dependabot for update PRs on the forge.
  • Site: resinhead.au now derives its devlog straight from this changelog at release time; the old GitHub App sync is retired.
