Get a Grip
A release about holding things properly: your weapons, and our own crash reports. One fix for your hands, one for our sovereignty; both overdue.
- You can no longer hold two two-handed weapons at once. Wielding a halberd in each hand was anatomically ambitious and, frankly, showing off. Grip is now enforced everywhere a weapon changes hands, so picking up a two-hander clears your offhand instead of quietly stacking, and an offhand swing no longer teleports that weapon into your main hand.
- Crash reports now land on our own studio infrastructure instead of a third-party service. If the game falls over, it falls over into our arms. Nothing changes for you except that the people fixing the bug hear about it faster; same privacy posture as before, fewer middlemen.
- Build pipeline: finished the forge-registry NuGet flip properly; the smoke-test publish and the facilitator container build now authenticate against the forge feed instead of coasting on cache luck, and the release pipeline passes its secrets through to the smoke-test gate.
